Manna Cook and Bake Global Empowerment Initiative (RC 180502) is a non-governmental organisation formed by a team of professionals.

Our mission is to create real, lasting change

To train, develop and mentor women and youths to become entrepreneurs that are financially independent and ready to give back to the society and to be better home makers.

Why our approach creates real impact

Our first training was planned by five committees (Media & Marketing, Monitoring, Training, Spiritual, Logistics) to make sure every participant could attend, learn and leave with a skill.

Hands-on classes

Participants learn by doing, guided by experienced bakers and caterers.

Visual learning

Laptops were used for pictorial illustrations so everyone could learn quickly.

Organised delivery

Registration and attendance were taken in every class.

Access for all

Transport was provided for participants coming from far parts of Abuja.

Our first training as a certified organisation took place from 30 November to 2 December 2022. Since then we have kept growing, investing in our team and partnering with organisations that share our goals.

History and development since our first training.

Our first MCBGEI training
Our first training as a certified organisation. Five committees planned the programme on a budget, 12 skill classes ran side by side, and transport was provided for participants coming from far parts of Abuja. Over 420 participants attended.
2023
Investing in our devoted team
Team members took part in self-development trainings, including media team training by Boost and Blossoms, to strengthen how we plan, teach and share our work.
August 2023
Training with the Peter Irabor Foundation
In collaboration with the Peter Irabor Foundation, we held a hands-on training in Abuja, with live demonstrations and products made by participants on the day.
